As a Major Hindrance she has no legal rights or other serious consequences.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Overconfident (Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>The hero believes she can do anything.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Pacifist (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>Fights only in self\u00ad-defence as a Minor Hindrance, won\u2019t fight at all as Major.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Phobia (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>The character is afraid of something, and subtracts \u20131\/\u20132 from all Trait rolls in its presence.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Poverty (Minor)<\/strong><\/td><td>Half starting funds and the character is always broke.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Quirk (Minor)<\/strong><\/td><td>The individual has some minor but persistent foible that often annoys others.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Ruthless (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>The character does what it takes to get her way.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Secret (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>The hero has a dark secret of some kind.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Shamed (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>The individual is haunted by some tragic event from her past.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>\u2020 Sharp-\u00adTongued (Minor)<\/strong><\/td><td>The hero must spend his first action in any combat on a Taunt\u037e cannot raise his Persuasion skill over d8. +1 to Taunt rolls.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Slow (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>Pace \u20131, reduce running die one step. As Major, Pace \u20132, \u20132 to Athletics and rolls to resist Athletics. Neither may take the Fleet\u00adFooted Edge.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Small (Minor)<\/strong><\/td><td>Size and Toughness are reduced by 1. Size cannot be reduced below \u20131.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Stubborn (Minor)<\/strong><\/td><td>The character wants his way and rarely admits his mistakes.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Suspicious (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>The individual is paranoid. As a Major Hindrance, allies subtract 2 when rolling to Support him.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Thin-Skinned (Minor\/Major)<\/strong><\/td><td>The character is particularly susceptible to personal attacks. As a Minor Hindrance, he subtracts two when resisting Taunt attacks.
